bari wieselman schulman is a modern abstract painter and mixed-media artist obsessed with language, color, and the ways in which art and art objects invite dialogue and carry meaning in the world. a divergent thinker with an intuitive and experimental process, her work challenges us to see, feel, and think differently. 

bari’s work is the translation, the embodiment, the communication of an intense mind in constant motion. getting things out on paper to see and touch, playing with perspective, manipulating, feeling, exploring, her work makes manifest the experience of seeing in color, thinking in color, speaking in color, being in color as perceivable color, form, concept. chaotic coherence, coherent chaos – a world where color, gesture, and contrast are the medium, and introspection, meaning-making, dialogue, connection, and evolved openness are the message.
